Looking Back and Looking Ahead

#WachsSafe

As we begin 2017, it is the perfect opportunity to look back and reflect on what Wachs Services and our teams have accomplished. Our incident rates have steadily declined in the past handful of years, due in no small part to our Safety First culture, which is in turn perpetuated by our core values. These numbers are a direct result of our function as a team. It only takes one person making the wrong decision, one person taking a short-cut, one person looking the other way to influence the numbers above in a negative manner.

The way we each conduct our business has a direct influence on the success of Wachs. Our reputation, and the ability to attract and keep top talent all have safety as the cornerstone.

A brief summary of our progress in terms of Health and Safety Key Performance Indicators (KPI).

Note the solid blue line on the graph. This is our EMR (Experience Modification Rate), the number used by insurance companies to gauge both past cost of injuries and future chances of risk and has a strong impact on the success of our business. The lower our EMR, the lower our worker compensation insurance premiums will be. An EMR of 1.0 is considered industry average. Currently we are at a rate of 0.59, an impressive number within our peer group.

Congratulations to each and every team member at Wachs Services for another outstanding year.   #WachsSafe
