Electronic Technicians and Equipment Repair
Maintenance, Repair and Calibration services are offered either in-house or for field applications for your equipment. Basic technician training for common field repairable items are also offered as in in-house service. A full variety of options is open to the customer, from equipment, E-tech manpower or well stocked tech tool box for field equipment repair, to manpower or training, the choice is yours. Wachs also stocks an abundant supply of common consumables for several brands of orbital welding equipment. So, if you need E-techs, rental equipment, parts or supplies, we’re just a call away. |

| Quality/Safety Assurance Programs |

Wachs Services is committed to quality and safety in the workplace. The WTS Belmont, North Carolina facility is headquarters for welder qualifications. Training stations, mock-up areas and state-of-the-art GMAW / GTAW multiprocess welding systems are maintained to qualify technicians in all processes and exotic alloys.
Wachs' has in place a complete Quality Assurance Program that meets the requirements of 10 CFR 50 Appendix B and ASME NQA-1.. In addition to the QA Program, WTS holds the ASME "S" and "U" Certificates of Authorization and the National Board “R" Certificate of Authorization.
Wachs Services staff and technicians are required to adhere to 10 CFR 26 Fitness-for-duty regulations and 10 CFR 73 security screening to meet rigid industry safety standards. |

| Decommissioning |
Wachs Services has participated in key commercial and government Nuclear and Non-Nuclear decommissioning and dismantlement projects, from segmentation of reactor vessels and steam generators to complete refinery dismantlement.
Wachs Services experience ranges from technical assistance to turn key projects. The large inventory of state-of-the-art equipment maintained in our Belmont, North Carolina facility, coupled with competent certified machine technicians and welders with an overall focus on quality, assures our customers of positive results for their on-site machining and welding needs. |

In addition to the National Board "R" Stamp and ASME "S", and "U" certifications, Wachs Services' Quality Assurance program meets the requirements of 10 CFR 50, Appendix B and ASME NQA-1.
Performed to date; Shoreham, Yankee Rowe, Maine Yankee, Trojan, and most recently, the decommissioning of the Plum Brook Test Reactor.
Wachs Services has also gained smaller reactor experience having completed decommission of the Argonne National Experimental Boiling Water Reactor (EBWR).
