WTS designed and built a 60” diameter I.D. Mount machine to segment the Reactor Vessel Cavity Liner. Also WTS used the Wachs rail mill to cut the shield plug and make vertical cuts on the Cavity Liner for burial.

The Wachs window cutter was used to cut the outer steel shell from the lead on the Ion Exchangers.

WTS core bored through the cavity liner, 3” of lead shielding and 8” of concrete to determine the extent of activation.
